DIGGING DEEP WITH OREGON

January 10

Ever since David Lett decided to plant Pinot Noir in the Dundee Hills of Oregon the wines have

continued to impress critics and wine lovers alike. While Pinot Noir is the staple grape with its

own distinct style, it is far from being the only thing Oregon has to offer. In this class we will

explore the white wines of Oregon in one flight before moving to flights of wine comparing

Pinot Noirs from the five unique sub-AVAs of the Willamette Valley. You will learn about the
history of Willamette Valley and the differences in site that make each AVA within it unique.

NAPA VALLEY, MOUNTAIN VS. VALLEY FRUIT

February 21

Most wine enthusiasts know that Napa Valley is famous for producing big, bold Cabernet

Sauvignon and delicious Sauvignon Blanc, but how many know the distinction between the
flavor profile of fruit grown on the mountain tops compared to the valley floor? Spend two

hours tasting and learning about how differences in altitude and soil types affect texture and

flavor of some of our favorite Napa Valley wines. We will also discuss some of the rich

history in the valley that shaped the modern landscape today.

A VITICULTURAL TOUR OF SPAIN
