Newton Vineyard, Napa Valley

Joined by Chef Michael Solomonov

Founded in 1977, Newton Vineyard is one of the most prestigious estates in California’s Napa

Valley. Located on the steep slopes of Spring Mountain, the 260 hectare property produces

wines that are vinified separately to contribute complexity to the final blended wine. Each of

the distinctive vineyard blocks is planted to a specific Bordeaux variety – merlot, cabernet

franc, chardonnay, cabernet sauvignon or petit Verdot – with an emphasis on cabernet
sauvignon as it’s consistently proven to be their strongest performing varietal. With its

close relationship to the surrounding nature, the estate alternates vines with wooded areas,

preserving biodiversity throughout the vineyards.

Newton Vineyard’s guiding philosophy is to work harmoniously with nature to produce wines

with a sense of terroir. Through a combination of respect for the environment and exceptional

terroir, Newton Vineyard has been producing internationally acclaimed wines for 40 years.
