Justin Winery originated with the goal to bring world-class Bordeaux-style blends to Paso 

Robles, California and in 1981, planted their first cabernet sauvignon grapes in the limestone 

enriched soil of the Santa Lucia Mountains. Today, the winery boasts 25 delicious vintages and 

is committed to the philosophy that the best grapes make the best wines. Justin combines Old 

World methods like hand-harvesting and small-barrel aging in French oak, with New World 

technology to create delicious wines with flavor, structure and balance.

The origins of David Arthur Vineyards and the Long Family Ranch date back to the 1950’s 

when the Long family first began visiting Napa Valley. The winery and estate vineyards, with 

breathtaking views of the valley 1200 feet below, are located on the Long Family Ranch that 

was purchased in the 1960’s. David Arthur Vineyards produces their impeccable wines through 

a family tradition of hand crafting, exceptional quality, and limited production. The winery’s 

inaugural release was the 1985 Chardonnay vintage, but the estate’s 19 acres of rough mountain 

terrain and rocky volcanic soils are most ideally suited to growing cabernet sauvignon.
